Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) this website uses, in line with Article 129 of the Belgian Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005 and the cookie guidance of the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA). Everything described here is first-party: no third-party advertising or tracking service ever runs on this site.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage, serve the same purpose. Cookies can be technical (needed for the site to work or to honour a choice you made — these require no consent) or serve other purposes such as analytics, which do require your prior consent.

2. Cookies and storage used on this website

Analytics cookies are set by Matomo, which we host ourselves on servers located in the European Union. The data they generate is processed only by GrexID SRL (in formation) and is never shared with third parties. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. How consent works on this site

The first time you visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse analytics cookies, with both options equally available. No analytics cookie is set until you accept. Refusing does not limit the website in any way.

  • Change your mind at any time: use the Cookie settings link in the footer to reopen the banner and update your choice.
  • Withdrawing consent stops analytics and removes its cookies; data already collected is kept only in aggregated form.
  • We will ask again after 6 months, or earlier if the cookies we use change.

4. Managing cookies from your browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Check your browser's help section: most browsers document this under 'Privacy' — including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Note that blocking technical storage may prevent the site from remembering your theme or your cookie choice.

5. Updates

We will update this policy whenever the cookies used by the website change, and the banner will ask for consent again where required. For more information about cookies in general, see the Belgian Data Protection Authority's guidance at www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
